Play Ball!

Hello Walnut PONY families!

Thank you to everyone who came out last Saturday to watch the games. It was exciting to have everyone back and see the kids playing ball and laughing with their friends. The regional PONY director was out here in the morning and commented on how great it was to be back in action.

As we get ready to play our second week of games, we would like to make you aware of a couple of things.

1) All spectators are required to wear face masks, even if they are sitting 6 feet apart from another person. The City of Walnut will be out several times throughout the day to check and make sure we are complying with that mandate. Please do your part and follow the rule so we can keep the season going for the kids.

2) Due to a recent update on the Reopening Protocol for Youth Sports issued by LA County Public Health, we will not have the snack bar open. Concession stands at youth sports competitions are prohibited at this time. We apologize for this as we know many of you rely on the snack bar for water, Gatorade or snacks, but it is out of our control. Please plan accordingly and bring your own drinks and snacks. As soon as we get the "okay" from the city to open back up, we definitely will.
